*please note, I'll have bullets to songs for points in this journal that will be fitting for the story purpose.*

1*The Steel Lion Garrison, The last western bastion on the Kimor Steppes before the Dread Waste Lands to the south, Has long been the watch for the Steppes since the great Dragon Wars. Manned by the Dark watch, Men and Women of the area, there is no shortage of dangers they must face, from the beasts of the lands, to the harsh elements, to the warring tribes of Hobgoblins and ogre raiders. The black stone walls have seen many battles fought around it. But of late, the walls have been marred.

Steel Lion Garrison has weathered a 5 year war with The Shard-tusk Ogres, a split off faction of the ogre race that was mutated by the dark energies and fel magic's, turning a Mighty race of Warriors, into huge, brutish monsters. Lead by a Warlord called The Goretusk, He lead his forces to lay siege to the garrison causing massive damage and causalities in the defends. If not for a combined Force of Minotaur Legions, Dwarven Army, and Human forces to finally beat back the Goretusk's horde and even hurt him in the process.

2* With the Shard War over, the Garrison has been trying to repair itself and be the defense that it was. While the Main forces work on making major repairs to it, Different groups; Legionaries, Miners, Outriders, Scouts, and so on have been doing small missions for the Garrison from Manning outposts, to searching for precious resources, to scouting for any signs of the former War Horde. but, with the garrison's forces not like they were and spread out as far as they are, its hard for it to keep in contact. That is Why Hero's like you are sent on missions to see what is happening at major spots of interest, as well and minor side quests and even quests designed for your Hero class. but alas, the times of peace are not to last.

3* Word from the Southern Watch post has come back that a massive army of Orcs is making its way North to Steel Lion. Attempts where made to keep them held back for as long as possible, but it is inevitable that it'll come to the Garrison and it is in no state for another Siege. But, Plans are being made. Force Commander Zeke Ironheart has made plans. While the Merchants and Non-fighting forces of Steel Lion Garrison make their escape to a near by Dwarf Keep, The main Garrison Force and keep the Orcs busy with them. As Luck would have it, the forces guarding the Southern post was the Minotaur force, The Blood Horn Legion. they had whittled away most of the Orc army and even used the Post (blowing it up and blocking the main path to Steel Lion.) have pledge to help stand with the main forces and stand at the head of the main forces. with help from Hero's, The Apprentices of the "Hermit" Blacksmith have come with a fresh supply of weapons, armor, and 5 pieces of siege weapons; 2 catapults, 2 Great cannons, and a weapon out of Myth, a massive Hellfire Cannon, its head shaped into the likeness of a red dragon. And as if the gods favor the defenders, 500 Knights of the Red Sun have come from Human kingdom of Eslowe, lead by a Knight of the Ebon Wings Order, Sir Tyrone Larkenson. With Plans made, the Leaders of each groups formulate the plan of battle.

4,5* Set on the one end of a small valley, the Forces of Steel Lion Garrison stand. The Blood Horn Legion, Lead by their new Centurion, Taygar Stormhoof. Arranged on both sides and behind the Blood Horn legion, stands a mixed core of Pike men, Lancers, and Halberdiers stand with mixed forces of Sword shields, Great Hammers, Long Swords. behind this main fighting force is the Range Units. sadly, the Garrison only had 100 Crossbows, 50 Bowmen, and a small handful of Long Rifles. On the rim of the Valley behind the forces are the Siege weapons set, with the 2 catapults out on the far edges, then Great Cannons spaced from them and the Hellfire Cannon in the center. Soon the Sky above opens up and it rains a light drizzle. Suddenly the sounds of small gun fire and shouts mixed with Horse whinnies is heard as the Outriders come barreling down the valley. And Behind them, a seething sea of mud skinned, piece meal armored orcs, roaring hoarse cries of rage at a new target to face barrels down towards the Garrison forces. Sergeants and Men at Arms Shout out commands to ready arms as the forces march into place and make their stand. But, as the Army rumbles closer, the Minotaur's don't make a move to bear their arms. Closer and closer the orcs charge, till finally, Centurion Stormhoof Yells a command. As one, the first 3 ranks of the Blood Horn Legion drops to a kneeling position, while the back two ranks pulled out the famous rifles of the Minotaur Empire, The Thunderhorns. with a bark, the 4th rank fires off a round, sending the front ranks of the orc army flying back into the ones behind them, but on it charges, as the 5th rank fires and then the 4th again, till the Orcs are but feet away, the Centurion Bellows and the ranks stand and draw shields and weapons and form a mighty shield wall. The orcs smash into it and are flung back and then the Minotaur's strike and rain ruin apon them, a Bastion of Iron and Steal in an ocean of darkness. Around them the other forces of Steel Lion Garrison fared just as well, working like a well oiled Golem. the Range units picked off any targets they could and the Siege weapons took a mighty toll on the army. after about an hour into the battle, a Horn sounded in the distance. Soon the ground rumbled as over both ridges of the valley came the Knight of the Red Sun, divided in half lances lowered and smashing into the flanks of the orc army. Cheers rose as the Minotaur formation succeed. With the main force of the garrison keeping the Orcs busy, the Knights rode around to its sides and charged them unawares. Though the Leader of the Knights, Gregory Skyhoof, a Centaur, leads the knights in their charge, one can't help but look for Sir Larkenson. Suddenly, the sky is pierced with a sound like the cry of an eagle mixed with the roar of a lion shatters the thought as a black bolt hurtles from the sky into the Orcs. when it slams into the ranks the forces cheer louder, for Sir Larkenson has joined the battle atop his mount, a massive, ebony colored Gryphon. as you watch, it clamps its massive beak around the head of an orc and rip it off and shallow it whole, then swipe out with its Eagle limbs and smash 6 more orc with its talons. From its back, Sir Larkenson swings out with a sword bathed in flames, taking heads and arms of any that comes close to him, then with a kick, The Gryphon tenses, then launches back into the sky, only to crash down again where the orcs seemed to be gaining ground. all seems like the Garrison forces will win the day. But soon, it seems as though something isn't right. First signs is Sir Larkenson's Gryphon shrieking and pacing around, looking to the sky from time to time as if looking for something. Then suddenly the Blood Horn Legion start bellowing in a sudden rage, like enraged bulls in a pen. Then you notice that out of the 5 siege weapons, the Hellfire cannon doesn't fire off with the rest. Suddenly, there's a scream of terror as the shot from the Hellfire cannon goes off and nearly hits the front rank of Pike men on the right flank of the Garrison forces. as you look, you see a sight out of a nightmare. Crouched on top of the cannon was a massive winged beast. it looked like a mix of serpent, wolf, bear, and bat; with pieces of scrape metal hammered into its flesh as armor. and atop its back, on a crude Saddle, sat another monster. its body covered in slabs of scarred muscle, in tar painted, patched worked, iron armor, with one huge crystalline tusk that his kind get their name from, The Horrible Goretusk grins wickedly down at the Garrison forces. a scream somewhere in the force cries out "WYVERN" as the Goretusk barks at his mount. with a hissing screech, it uses its winged limbs and hurls the damaged cannon into the armies. most of the Garrison forces make it out of the cannons path, but an unlucky few are crushed beneath it, while the orc forces are smashed and crushed when it bounces into their ranks. Then charging from the back of the other end of the valley, The Shard-tusk ogres under the Goretusk's war band smash what orcs are in their way and make for the weaken Garrison line. With their most hated foe coming, The Blood Horn Legion charges forward and meets the Ogres Head on, but with them breaking rank and most of the Garrison forces in disarray, this leaves a huge gap for the Orc army to charge in. Sir Larkenson meets The Goretusk in the sky, their mounts swiping at each other, then Goretusk wielding a spear of Black Iron in his meaty paw. with a lucky throw, a Shard-tusk ogre hurls an unlucky Orc up into the air and stuns Sir Larkenson's Mount, long enough for the Goretusk to score a hit and stab the knight and knock him off his mount. with a wail of sorrow, the Garrison forces seem to crumble more as out of the West a pack of Hobgoblins riding massive Steppe Wolves attacks the left most siege weapons, scattering the siege crews. All hope seems lost, when out of the blue, a Lone Soldier Takes up the Banner of the Steel Lion Garrison. Waving it back and fourth, with a Rallying cry, he tries to bring the forces back to battle positions, but with the Blood Horn Legion fighting the Shard-tusks and most of the Garrison forces scattering, he stands alone as a dark tide surges to him. Then, out of the blue and bellow cries out and suddenly, the Soldier is supported by a some what smaller Legion of Minotaur's. Its the Injured forces from the Blood Horn Legion, who were sent to help guard the civilian forces. then over the edge, the Dwarven Miners who also sent to guard the merchants take down the Hobgoblin forces and chase off the Steppe wolves and separate to man the siege weapons and continue firing them. with this new, smaller Legion of Minotaur's and the Siege weapons firing, The Garrison forces join up and reforms the lines and stand their ground once again. even the Knights of the Red Sun, Mounted on their Mighty War horses stand with them and lay waste to the Orcs. but soon a shadow descends apon the Force. The Goretusk roars and his wyvern mounts swoops down ready to smash all beneath its bulk. Or would, if not an even larger form had slammed into it. the Wyvern roars, but then breaks away as fast as it can for the Beast the crashed into it was a large Drake. But cheers arise as the Drake is none other then the Hermit Blacksmith, Drasmardos, the Red Drake of Valos Cave. with a blast of his wings, he knocks the wyvern off course and it slams into the ground, knocking the Goretusk off his saddle and down into the battle. with that weight off its back, the Wyvern shoots off into the sky and back to the cliffs of its home, with Drasmardos chasing it to make sure, then the Red Drake turns his ire onto the Shard-tusk forces.  Soon the Goretusk is battle the Garrison forces, but few can stand up to the massive beast's fury, Till Centurion Stormhoof marches up to him. his helm lost, shield battles, armor dented and bleeding from a few wounds, he draws his sword nonetheless challenged the Shard-tusk warlord. they circled each other, their respective armies surrounding them, watching them strike, counter, parry, and swipe. They Seem to be evenly matched, till the Centurion's sword shatters. Now all he can do if defend, but even his Minotaur crafted Shield can't hold out, but out of the Garrison forces comes a call and in the air thrown to Stormhoof is a Shining Warhammer. As soon as Stormhoof hand closes around its haft, a brilliant light shines from its ornate head and covers the centurion in its glow. Before everyone's eyes, all the damage to Stormhoof's armor, shield, and his wounds heal as the light burns in his own eyes, he bellows a shock wave. Unimpressed, The Goretusk bellows and charges the Centurion, but the hammers head smashes the Pikes to piece, then slams into the Gortusk's gut, bowling him over and onto his knees. with the Warhammer gripped with both his hands, Stormhoof roars and bring the mighty weapon down and smashes the Goretusk's head from his shoulders. as its body quivers in the mud, the Ogres and orcs panic and retreat back from where they came. with a mighty Cheer, the Forces of Steel Lion Garrison celebrate a great victory. The Knights of the Red Sun and Outriders chase off the Goretusk's scattered army back to the Dread Wastes and the Legions Celebrate by giving the new Legion its name, the Honor's Heart Legion.
